About Me

My name is Andrew Bauer. I have a marvelous wife, two wonderful girls, I'm a full time Financial Analyst by day and a part-time woodworker from my garage by night.

I found my start in woodworking in 2016 when my wife saw a laundry basket holder at a craft show and requested I build her one. I found some scraps in my garage and started in. With just a drill, a miter saw, a sander, and minimal experience I completed the task to my wife's satisfaction and I was hooked on woodworking. I started reading all I could about woodworking from different types of wood and tools to joinery and finishes. I quickly became obsessed with learning all I could about the best techniques and products. I will admit to over analyzing. After completing a few projects and gifts I decided to try my hand at selling my projects. My motivation was not to make a profit but simply that I love woodworking and the pure enjoyment of bringing something to life from the beauty within wood.
